[Bug 874699] Re: [i965gm] GPU lockup
Hi Muelli,
Thanks for filing this bug report and including the i915_error_state.txt
file. However, the file is just zeros (00000000). Probably it was
collected after the system had reset itself.
Are you still experiencing these freezes since the release? If so, can
you ssh into the system while its frozen and collect the
i915_error_state.txt file manually? Grab 'sudo dmesg' output while
you're at it.
Do you know if having the external monitor attached triggers the freeze
or is somehow associated with it? You might experiment around
disconnecting/reconnecting or turning it off/on with the config tool to
see if you can intentionally trigger the freeze; that can make debugging
a lot easier.
