[Bug 796864] Re: Can't use AltGr on a French MacBook
Same problem here in Oneric.

The "@" is on the "G" key. Under OSX, we print it using ALT+g.
a workaround for me is to remap the Right Command key (apple key) to act
as AltGr
for xmodmap :
clear Mod4
keycode 134 = ISO_Level3_Shift
add Mod4 = Super_L
So tu right command key still act as a Super key, and the right one as a
AltGr.
