[Bug 877789] Re: Choppy Audio After Upgrade To 11.10
I just noticed that if I'm watching for example a Youtube video, with my ExpressCard sound card plugged out, then the video is perfectly fluid (but of course with no sound); then as soon as I plug the card in, and the system starts streaming audio to it, then the video too gets really choppy - it runs for at most half a second between "hiccups".
This makes the whole system pretty much unusable for anything multimedia-related.
