It is still an issue. Although I do not know to what it is related. Fact is that no display-manager is starting when not hiding plymouth splash screen via arrow-up or escape. Xserver is running, with gdm I get the busy-cursor, with lightdm I get the black cross after a while.
I will do a fresh install in near future. I will have a look if the bug still exists then. If not I will close the bug.
