I think this bug is not the same as the "false GPU" bug. My machine
hangs every time going into suspend. I initially reported this bug on
oneiric testing. Once Oneiric became stable, I reformatted and
reinstalled, to make sure I was not carrying forward some messed up
configuration, but I have continued to experience this problem every
time the machine attempts to suspend to RAM. Maybe I will attempt to
revert to pre 11.10 to verify that my hardware has not failed (
specially as nobody else seems to be experiencing this problem).
