I did not experience the problem once I changed to Xubuntu. I am not
willing to test current Ubuntu on this hardware as it is all that I have
available.
Unable to verify current status. Mark as abandoned removed; whatever is
the correct protocol. I am most likely going to go back to Debian
unstable for my desktop. That is what I was using in '05.
