I am having the same problem with a serial ArtPad II on Fedora 11. I
backported the Xorg wacom_drv to version 0.8.0.3 and the problem is
still there. This leads me to believe that the problem is not from new
code in the wacom driver, but from the wacom driver not being up to date
with the latest Xorg server.
