[Bug 860892] Re: Discrete Graphics not working
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command in a terminal after
reproducing the issue, and it it will automatically gather debugging
information needed for this bug:
apport-collect 860892
I believe the issue with apport recommending installation of proprietary
drivers has been solved in oneiric. Can you confirm whether the
"Hardware Drivers" applet is still recommending installation of fglrx
after you've updated to the final oneiric release? If it is, that'd be
a problem we should investigate.
No, there is no method supported in Ubuntu for switching between the two
(nor any near-term plans to support switching).
