  When I use switch key to enable/disable synaptics touchpad on a Dell
  M501R it works inverted: when I want to enable it, it shows an image
  with touchpad off, and viceversa.
  
  1) lsb_release -rd:

  3) pushing key to disable touchpad, it shows touchpad enabled, but it is
  switched off
  
  4) pushing touchpad switch should shows  touchpad is off when I switch it off
