[Bug 897904] Re: nvidia-current(-updates) stuck on Kernel 3.2
I have a similar problem with 12.04 alpha 1, where the screen goes black
during boot when X starts when running on a Toshiba Qosmio x505-898
Notebook with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics card. After the screen
goes black the only option is to hold the power button down for four
seconds to force a hard reset. I do not experience the problem when
11.10 release with the 3.0,0-12 kernel is installed and running on the
same computer. The problem seems to be related to the 3.2 Kernel.
