[Bug 412740] Re: no nvidia video desktop since update kernel and packages
Anything in the logs? You're on Jaunty. The 185.18.29 and .31 drivers
didn't work for me (FX570M GPU), but I had no problem when I added the
PPA and did the install.
My xorg.conf is almost empty:
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
DefaultDepth 24
EndSection
Section "Module"
Load "glx"
EndSection
Section "Device"
Identifier "Default Device"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "NoLogo" "True"
EndSection
Everything works fine.
