I am having similar problems.

Additionally there is an annoying issue with my mouse pointer. It is
'flickering'. But only on a few vertical positions. Horizontal I haven't
realized this flickering.

I am trying to attach a short video which shows the problem (better to
understand if you have seen it yourself).
