Message #18358
[Bug 421404] [NEW] touchpad tab missing in mouse configuration
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I am using Jaunty 9.04 AMD64 on a newly bought laptop. I can move the
pointer and scroll using two fingers on the touchpad, but the tab is
missing in the mouse configuration.
xinput list-props "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" gives
"unable to find device SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad"
There is no section for input device or touchpad in xorg.conf.
This is similar to bug #267611, but there it was reported that the issue
was resolved in 8.10.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
