[Bug 423047] Re: xorg-edgers regression: screen corruption in blender

This morning I upgraded to the newest xorg-edgers packages again. Among those upgrades was in particular an upgrade to libgl1-mesa-dri_7.6.0+git20090902.dc9de806-0ubuntu0tormod.
This made the visual corruption shown in the video go away! Also the speed regression in Extreme Tux Racer went away.
There are however new visual problems with some buttons not showing up until mouse over and some buttons disappearing on mouse over. Since those are different and where not present before as far as I can tell this bug here should be closed. I will file a new bug report.
I attach a video (blenderSep3.ogv) showing the new visual bug and showing that the old corruption bug is gone.

Forcing libgl1-mesa-dri down to the current karmic
(7.6.0~git20090817.7c422387-0ubuntu3) worked and made all visual
corruption old and new go away. Extreme Tux Racer was at its usual 30
FPS then.
