[Bug 365973] Re: [GM45] Intel video driver often chooses wrong resolution on Thinkpad SL400
Dear all,
I seem to have very similar problems. Mine is like this: on boot, Ubuntu seems to be choosing the wrong display settings. The log in page and the desktop display only use part of the screen (leaving black stripes of about 1in each on both sides. The problem is also on and off, being more on lately.
