Message #20689
[Bug 426449] [NEW] green artifact when clicking trash icon
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Booted Karmic alpha5 live CD. Changed no settings whatsoever.
Clicking and releasing the mouse on the trash icon in the bottom-right
corner of the screen results in a very brief green artifact displayed on
my screen. It's a line, probably a pixel wide, both at the far left and
far right of the screen. It happens every time I release my mouse when
clicking the trash icon. The line differs in length and position every
time I click. So far, I found it only to happen when clicking the trash
icon; opening a window doesn't result in the artifact.
I attached a video, showing the lines just before the window is opened.
Might be hardware related:
Using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260, 192 core model, card by MSI. Screen is a Samsung Syncmaster 245B+, DVI connection. Single monitor. Mobo's an ASUS P5Q-E. Proc's an Intel Q9550 quad-core.
