You have been subscribed to a public bug:

OS release: Ubuntu 9.04
Video card - ATI Radeon R200m (it's a notebook Acer 5100).
Video driver package version ("apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-video-radeon" output):
xserver-xorg-video-radeon:
  Установлен: 1:6.12.1-0ubuntu2
  Кандидат: 1:6.12.1-0ubuntu2
  Таблица версий:

        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Compiz version: 1:0.8.2-0ubuntu8.1

While playing video file (no matter what player is used - Totem, VLC, MPlayer) I get a graphical artifacts (see screenshot in attachment). Sometimes this problem can be reproduced when:
1 - simply starting playback;
2 - maximizing/minimizing/restoring player window;
3 - switching between desktops;
4 - switching fullscreen/windowed mode;
4 - moving player window.
Sometimes there is no such problem at all.

This artifacts disappear when I close the player window. Sometimes I
need additionally to switch between desktops to remove this artifacts.
