Using 09.10 alpha 6 LiveCD on a Medion MD 97900.
Display makes 2 entries in lspci :

After Kubuntu started to initialize normally, the desktop shows two otherwise blank windows and a taskbar "overlayed" with fragments of extra huge characters.  If some clicking is made to start something, the desktop changes to thin stripes.  The system finally dies, not responding to any click.
Ctrl-Alt-F2 and I extracted the attached logs.

Strangely enough, there seems to be no problem with Ubuntu (Gnome)
LiveCD.

As there is an apparently 2 years-old problem with iwl3945 not enabling
the WiFi controller when the button is pressed, preventing any use of
the WiFi, and not counting tie issues in 143 entries for iwl3945 ...

... the kid I'm striving to help, or try to, wants to use Windows, or
Suse if the WiFi's fixed.
