I can confirm the error @Iain Buclaw above, with the 2.6.31-5-rt kernel
in the repositories. The patch is the same as the initial fix, and leads
to a failure to boot.

The failure can take the form of:

- kernel panic
- computer reset
- blank screen and system halt (occasionally so hard that removing power is the only way to unlock)

At no point do I get a working X or console.
