[Bug 439188] Re: blender rotate (xrandr) on external monitor forces logout

 

reprocuction with edgers 28.d4 and forced down xserver-xorg-video-intel
all the way to current karmic's 2:2.8.1-1ubuntu2 (again same hw):

it always is wrong. the screen is scrolled down and wrapping around. what should be the topmost third is actually shown in the middle third. what should be the bottom third shows up as the top third. that is what i see on the screen. the screenshot however looks normal! no scrolling. see attachment "lie.png"
rotating to normal is fine.
tried several times. same thing.
tried upside down. now i got the same scrolling but in the horizontal direction. back to normal was fine.
then one reluctant update
then i tried right rotation and had to REISUO.
