[Bug 439188] Re: blender rotate (xrandr) on external monitor forces logout
and finally everything back down to current karmic (same hw):
xserver-xorg-video-intel:
Installed: 2:2.8.1-1ubuntu2
Candidate: 2:2.8.1-1ubuntu2
Version table:
*** 2:2.8.1-1ubuntu2 0

libgl1-mesa-dri:

etracer -a Average FPS: 26.7851 (perhaps the fastest by a frame or two)
turning gives the scrolled behaviour from above. with one forded logout in between.
what is important that the screen position (the scrolled position) is also wrong when blender is opened and positioned and the already turned screen afterwards. iirc the newer video-intel does that fine. so here work is not possible on a turned blender on external screen. it is however perfect on the unturned external. no bugs i can see.
** Summary changed:
- blender rotate (xrandr) on external monitor forces logout
+ blender rotate (xrandr) on external monitor freezes, logouts, corruptions
