Message #23876
[Bug 438435] Re: System Crash: VGA-1: EDID invalid.
I'm too affected by https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22936
I tried Option "SwapbuffersWait" "true", but it didn't work for me.
I tried 2.9 version from ppa, but happened again :(
[drm:edid_is_valid] *ERROR* Raw EDID:
<3>aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa ................
...
If I try start without any "xorg.conf" my screen will blink and I have
to press CNTRL-ALT-SUPR. X won't start.
I can read then, "vt: argh driver_data _became_ NULL" from my console
If I try running with VESA, it tell about different ABI versions from
xserver-xorg and xserver-xorg-video-vesa , is it another bug ?
Thanks
