[Bug 329742] Re: nvidia-settings crashes when user clicks Save To X Configuration File
Confirmed on Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Alpha6 (64 bit) with quite clean system.
This bug occurs exactly same way:
""Click "Save to X Configuration File"
An error window appears with: "Failed to parse existing X config file
'/etc/X11/xorg.conf'!" Click OK. Application crash occurs at this
point.""
Problem _could be_ due the fact that I had already used
System->Settings->Screen(or Display? not using english version this
time) to setup my screens before I got nvidia binary drivers installed.
So just now I'm stuck with only one display working at the time.
