Upstream has closed the bug on their end due to lack of response to
their questions and because they believe it to now be fixed.  Please
reopen if you find it to still be an issue.

Also, according to the final comment on the upstream bug, it sounds like
this is an issue in the kernel rather than the ddx driver, so re-filing.
