I have tried with kubuntu and I get a black screen during the transition
between the splash and the desktop, obviously makes the desktop unusable

Using a T2300 CPU with nVidia 7400 Go GPU

No problems with ubuntu though

Hope it's solved soon, I can't wait to move to karmic!
