[Bug 424370] Re: Gnome session fails on login
** Description changed:
I am unable to login to a gnome session. After I select my name from
gdm, and type my password, I see the a small animated light. The screen
goes black, like it is trying to start up X and then just returns to the
gdm home.
This did not happen on Karmic Alpha (4) initially, but began when I
updated earlier this week. I did a clean install of Karmic 5 this
morning and still see the problem.
I installed the 64 bit version and I have a AMD 4800 processor, with a
Radeon 3650 graphics.
Let me know what logs would help with this.
