[Bug 447181] Re: [xorg-edgers] Video driver error: No kernel modesetting driver detected
I had a similar problem on the kernel ( http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.30/ ) and my MSI Wind U90x.
I just downloaded ( http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.31.3/ ) and installed (sudo dpkg-i *. deb) for my platform + sources for my VirtualBox.
Easy way. Restart, and now all working.
