The interesting line in the Xorg log is:
(--) PCI:*(0@1:0:0) nVidia Corporation NV34 [GeForce FX 5200] rev 161, Mem @ 0xfb000000/16777216, 0xe8000000/134217728, BIOS @ 0x????????/131072

previous version of Xorg showed the memory range correctly (without the
?s)

I have currently fixed this issue by adding this to my rc.local until Xorg gets fixed:
echo "base=0xE8000000 size=0x08000000 type=write-combining" >| /proc/mtrr
