[Bug 380741] [NEW] [karmic] fn+f8 swich from trackpad to touchpad broken on thinkpad [regression]

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: devicekit-power

The releasenotes of alpha-1 state we should test the fn keys on our
machine, as they were moved to devicekit-power and udev-extras. As with
ubuntubug, you cannot open a bugreport which affects two packages, so i
decided to put it on the first one.

on my thinkpad t61 widescreen, the Fn+F8 key usually provides a switch
between the trackpoint and the touchpad, usually you use both, if once
pressed you can only use trackpoint,, twice you only use the touchpad.
In karmic (updated to recent version of 26.mai) the key simply does
nothing.
