[Bug 448719] [NEW] cannot switch users - using dual screens

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: gdm

This is a fresh 9.10 install on a new system. The graphics system is an
ATI Radeon HD 4890 running the FGLRX drivers and two screens (one in
portrait, one in landscape). All updates have been applied but the
problem has persisted since initial install.

Issue is that when I attempt to switch users, the screens go black, the
left screen goes solid white and the right screen comes back up with my
same account asking for a password. The buttons are all non-functioning
(send message, switch user, cancel, unlock) and all I can do is enter my
password to return back to my account.
