[Bug 451010] [NEW] Ubuntu 9.10 - Gateway MT6916 touchpad doesn't respond to tap select

Just started using Ubuntu 9.10. With my Gateway MT 6916, I can not tap
select or double click with my touchpad, I must use the right and left
buttons of my laptop instead...
