[Bug 392544] Re: [i945G] [intel KMS regression] wrong X resolution (fuzzy aspect match)
Indeed the noted patches went in post 2.6.31. As an interim solution
you can try running one of the latest mainline kernel builds which
should contain these patches. For ex http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.32-rc4/
