[Bug 447181] Re: [xorg-edgers] Video driver error: No kernel modesetting driver detected
For xorg-edgers Jaunty, I have now uploaded the 2.9.0 version (backport
of stock Karmic version). Since the post-2.9.0 versions had the ~ in
their version (2.9.0~git...) this new package will override those.
Since so many people are using xorg-edgers on Jaunty who obviously
should not be using it, I am tempted to leave Jaunty at 2.9.0 (with UMS)
and only update Karmic and Lucid from now on.
xserver-xorg-video-intel (2:2.9.0-1ubuntu2~jaunty) jaunty; urgency=low
* No-change rebuild of current karmic version
* Thanks for reading the changelog:
* !! !!
* !! This is the last version with UMS support !!
* !! For the 2.9.0+ versions you will need a !!
* !! kernel with KMS enabled (see LP: #447181) !!
