[Bug 426672] [NEW] onscreen notification of events such as printing complete, network device detected show only background, thus, no text and/or information

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

the pop up screen which displays printing notification, Network
connection lost or connected only shows a background image with no text.
Further more, frequently dialog boxes display this same behavior, where
the "OK", "Cancel", and other buttons are covered by the foreground
color.
