[Bug 445170] Re: [gm45] [Karmic] Xorg doesn't display full area on external monitor
I have a similar issue, but in my case, the combination shown above
works (see attachment 'screenshot-small.png', purple area is visible
area).
However, because of bug #389519 (pointer gets lost above the upper menubar), I want to move my small primary screen up to align it with the top of the bigger screen.
But when I do this, I get a big rectangular black part on my primary screen (see attachment 'screenshot-1-small.png, again, purple area is the visible area).
I know that this very bug reports a "mirrored background" on the secondary screen, and I get a black rectangle on my primary screen, but I thought that these issues are quite related.
Should I create a new bug for this?
