[Bug 473807] Re: 'xrandr --rotate normal' causes xserver to crash
Ok, I found something out:
I first experienced this bug on LXDE. I rotate my screen to tablet mode and the desktop switches but it takes a short while until the kicker and wallpaper have been rearranged. If I rotate back before that X crashes - if I wait it works.
On KDE this works much faster - so it is almost impossible to rotate the
screen back fast enough.
