Message #33756
[Bug 386740] Re: [K8M800] virtual size does not correctly set on panel
The first test is with openchrome SVN 817, external monitor connected.
Results: on both displays the right and bottom part of the desktop is not visible, out of the size of the 1024x768 screen size. Mouse is visible on both displays.
It is interesting that the panel size is recognised correctly as shown in the log file but not that resolution is used:
(II) CHROME(0): Native Panel Resolution is 1024x768
The following xorg.conf is used:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "openchrome"
Option "ModeSwitchMethod" "new"
EndSection
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
Device "Configured Video Device"
EndSection
** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log-SVN817-external-monitor-connected"
