Thanks for the note.  Yes, I am.  I still have problems, but current
uptime is almost 5 days.  I'm hoping to get the time to try Karmic in
the next week or two.

Cool!  That sounds easy.  I have two displays, so I added it to each.  I
presume I need to restart X; I'll do that when I don't have so many
windows open (or when Jaunty "helps" me in that regard :-) ).
