[Bug 422721] [NEW] empathy makes screen freeze
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Binary package hint: empathy
i seem to have a problem within empathy.
when talking to someone (text chat) and i was looking through the menu
bar at the top to see what features/options there are and when the
person replied while i had the menu open then screen just froze and the
menu items disappeared and i could not click on anything or close
anything. think it crashes x system
nothing seems to work.
i have to press ctrl alt f1 and restart to get back to my desktop.
i have also noticed that this happens when songs changes in rhythmbox
also, so it looks like it freezes when the notification popup happens
while in the menu options.
