[Bug 460478] Re: X crash on start (Xubuntu)
Hmm, I've never had any issues with logging in. All my problems seem to
stem from not using the machine for long periods of time ( >24 hours).
I came in this morning to find the machines display to be non
responsive, I was able to SSH in an attempted to restart gdm (didn't
work), my .xsession-errors file came back with:

Setting IM through im-switch for locale=en_US.
Start IM through /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL linked to /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default.
