yet another error msg :(

karmic | IIBM T41 | 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies
Inc Radeon RV250 [Mobility FireGL 9000] (rev 02)

after the workaround in #3 and the "normal settings" i have many font
design errors. i go back to no 3d settings. and reboot my laptop. a few
time the font design looks better. but now: i i change the desktop from
1 to 2 an back, my shell font color (white) was lost?! (look screen
shot) or, i have the same look like the blender window-screen shot. in a
shell.

my problems are not solved .... :(
