[Bug 446641] Re: [i845] DRM fails to become master, results in (extremely) slow software rasterization
I think this might be a kernel issue, since it seems that the main issue
here is that the i915 module isn't getting loaded:
jonathan@jonathan-desktop:~$ sudo modprobe i915
