[Bug 495627] Re: Dell E6500 unable to use native resolution (monitor doesn't support reduced blanking)
Short story:
So I'm an idiot. We can close this ticket. It turns out that my laptop's native resolution is 1280x800.
Longer story:
I had assumed I had the higher resolution, because this is a company issued laptop, and we ordered several of the same device. My coworkers all use Windows, and I'm the loner Ubuntu guy. We just got these, and I found out that one of my coworker's machines was running at 1920x1200. It turns out that Dell must have shipped us different displays on our machines, so I will take it up with them.
