[Bug 496415] Re: Lucid: Low Graphics mode only available as vmware guest
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xorg
With vmware 7 as host, tried installing Lucid (as guest os) separately
using desktop iso, alternate iso, and using dist-upgrade from Karmic.
- All situations result in allowing only low graphics mode as the vmware
- display driver will not initialize. Tried reinstalling the vmware
- display driver package but it did not help.
+ All situations result in allowing only low graphics mode (triggers
+ failsafe menu) as the vmware display driver will not initialize. Tried
+ reinstalling the vmware display driver package but it did not help.
