** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: nvidia-settings
  
- At every startup screen resolution sets to 800*600. i should launch nvidia-settings to set 1280*1024, but when i click "Save to X configuration file" it says 'Failed to parse existing X config file "/etc/X11/xorg.conf'!' and crashes. 
- Monitor - Samsung SyncMaster 959nf, version of nvidia-settings -
