Geir, thanks much for your help on the 'apport-collect <bug #>'.  With
yesterday's updates via recovery mode, fix broken packages the kernel
2.6.32-9 & xorg-video-intel are cooperating O.K. on this i845.

Will watch to see if xorg hangs now; entering this comment it's running
O.K.
