[Bug 317094] Re: meta bug to collect lshal touchscreen info
Machine: HP TouchSmart tx2 VH884PA touchscreen laptop (Sold in Japan). Technology appears equivalent to HP's touchscreen laptops in the U.S.
OS: Ubuntu 9.10
Touchscreen device: /dev/input/event8
Type of touchscreen: NextWindow.com (http://www.nextwindow.com/nextwindow_support/app_working_under_linux_2.html)
After modifying /etc/X11/xorg.conf, Touchscreen recognized. However not calibrated and your software not recognizing it.
(Reference used to gain recognition of the touchscreen: http://rkvsraman.blogspot.com/2008/10/gotcha-for-hp-touchsmart-pc.html)
Output of lshal > evtouch_hal.out is attached.
Please add.
Thank you
** Attachment added: "Output of lshal > evtouch_hal.out"
