I am having the issue with some other wine 3D apps (SpellForce, Majesy for example ).
It easily gets over 1GB after some use(1.3 is the highest i saw), and does not get released after the apps are closed.

i am using 64-bit 9.10 version with a Nvidia 8400MGT card

I get the(unconfirmed) feeling that it also happens, albeit more slowly,
in "normal" use. compiz is not active.
