[Bug 507813] Re: [i945gme] Xorg crash on an idle netbook (Intel video): [mi] EQ overflowing

Upgraded my kernel to 2.6.32-10-generic #14-Ubuntu SMP. Also xserver-
xorg-input-evdev got upgraded to 1:2.3.2-3 yesterday. Now the symptoms
changed a little bit (so far only one freeze after the upgrade):

When I hit Alt-SysRq-K after the freeze, I got a hard lock-up with a
frozen mouse cursor on a black screen. All SysRq keys non-functional,
had to power off.

Also, for some reason time offsets are now missing from
/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old:

(II) XKB: reuse xkmfile /var/lib/xkb/server-17A65304EB1C7E1E981E40EF0F1F724A1C2CEC3A.xkm
(II) XKB: reuse xkmfile /var/lib/xkb/server-17A65304EB1C7E1E981E40EF0F1F724A1C2CEC3A.xkm
[mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.

Maybe the log file ends here probably because the machine locked up when
writing?
