Hi Robert, glxgears FPS is not a good benchmark for performance. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Troubleshooting/IntelPerformance for some
things that are. You can also google for "glxgears is not a benchmark".
You may try the phoronix test in order to get some real performance
comparisons. See http://www.phoronix-test-suite.com/
